The British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors (BASCA) is the voice for music writers.

BASCA campaigns in the UK, Europe and throughout the world.

So that we may continue to do this, it is important that we can count the best songwriting and composing talent amongst our members.

We are the independent professional association representing music writers in all genres, from songwriting to media and contemporary classical to jazz.

We are entirely self-funding and rely on the continuing support of our members to carry on our work.

European Guitar Builders Association (EGB)

Wirtschaftsweg 5, Märkische Höhe, Germany

The EGB is an alliance formed by professional independent European luthiers.

We are dedicated to supporting each other by sharing knowledge, resources and experience in order to preserve and innovate the art and craft of guitar-building in Europe as a vital part of our musical culture.

The European Guitar Builders Association (EGB) was founded with the goal of organising independent luthiers as well as people related to the field of guitar-building across Europe.

The tradition of lutherie is a rich legacy. Methods tempered and knowledge accumulated over centuries. We want to preserve this but also carry it forward and expand it through innovation and the exchange of ideas and culture. We want to foster a sense of community among practitioners of our craft. Most builders are faced with similar problems and challenges. There is enormous potential in joining and helping each other, sharing experiences, cooperating and advancing the craft in a spirit of amity.
